An advertising landing page: the pre-launch checklist
A strong ad cannot fix a confusing page. Before spending on traffic, check offer consistency, working enquiries and meaningful measurement.

Match the ad and opening screen
Visitors should find the product and terms that brought them to the page. Make the service, location, price or quotation process clear. Avoid sending a narrowly focused ad to a generic screen listing every business activity.
Complete the journey on a phone
Open the page over a mobile connection. Read the offer, view images and submit the form. Check that the keyboard does not obscure fields, the button is visible and the enquiry reaches the right person. WhatsApp links must use the correct number.
Separate analytics events
A view, button click, form submission and confirmed order are different events. Check for duplicate firing. Test tracking against real actions after setup. Do not report every click as a sale.
Launch with an evaluation plan
Agree a test budget, audience and observation period. If results disappoint, examine traffic quality, offer clarity and lead handling separately. Change one significant hypothesis at a time so the result can be interpreted.
Frequently asked questions
Does every ad need a separate landing page?
No. Separate pages help when products, audiences or terms differ substantially. Similar ads may share a relevant page.
What should be checked after the first enquiry?
Notifications, response time, the question asked and the information the sales person needs to continue the conversation.
